Rachel Parsons is an editor and writer from South Jersey with a B.A. in English from Bryn Mawr College. In the corporate world, Rachel reads and refines mergers and acquisitions filings prior to publication with the Securities and Exchange Commission. She carries this same dedication into the creative world as Director of Editing with In The Name Publishing, helping writers develop their poetry, short stories, and full-length manuscripts. Her own writing journey goes back much further; she can pull out school journals from second grade where she played around and wrote (albeit with elementary spelling errors) poems, songs, imaginative tales, and even classroom curriculum. In recent years, Rachel has rededicated her life to walking with the Lord and has felt the Holy Spirit’s conviction to use her abilities to point others to the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Just as she and her husband disciple the next generation in their church’s youth group, Rachel looks forward to how God can use her writing and editing as a creative form of discipleship—all for His glory.
